At this meeting, we will plan for 2010. The majority vote will decide the events for next year. For each combined event each  group will carry one vote. For each troop event, each troop will carry one vote and for each pack event, each pack will carry one vote.

BP Sunday is a compulsory event and will be a combined Cub, Scout and Rover event. Over the years, we have had many successful BPSundays. Lets make 2010 no exception. Please don't leave it until the meeting to decide what type of BP Sunday event you would lik. Discuss it amongst yourselves and come up with a truly great event.

I would like to make a strong request that once the 2010 calendar is set, that each and every group respect the dates. These dates are set well in advance and a lot of planning goes into an event. There is absolutely no excuse to double book a date. This shows a lack of respect for fellow Scouters, as well as displaying a lack of ability to plan. Lets all play the game in 2010.

In addition to the above, I would also request that the organisers of each event have their planning ready by the Scouters council that is run at least ONE MONTH ahead of the event. In the same breath, I would request that numbers of attendees are also available within this time frame.

While we are on planning, I would like the district to take a decision on the format of District meetings for 2010. The Seeonee meeting has become its own meeting and theDistrict Scouters Council has become a Troops Scouters and Rover Council. The District Scouters Council is meant to involve members from the Packs, Troops and Crews, all at ONE meeting.
